A little about me…..

Trained in Sheffield in 1995 and working for Parasol Portraits, I started my career in photography at 18 years of age. Specialising back then in baby and family portraiture, I then went on to buy my own equipment and get out there into the world of street photography and local events.

Fast forward to 2008 and I started to take on small events for free to get more experience, including corporate and home portraits. In 2009 I set up my business covering weddings and parties in Leeds, West Yorkshire where I was living at that time. The Leeds Town Hall kept me busy with weddings and would take parties all over the area to keep in work.

After moving back to Hornsea in 2015, I continued locally until 2019 when I decided to take a 5 year break to work in and run my parents’ shop. I have been there ever since….

2024, I am back doing what I love,  photography, and am also now a trained Celebrant. I am able to take on Weddings, vow renewals, naming ceremonies and events as both a Civil Celebrant and a photographer and am opening  a studio in March 2025 at 128a Newbegin, Hornsea.

My approach is friendly and relaxed and  I like to build a rapport with my clients capturing candid moments in photography at their special events or creating beautiful eulogies to represent those we have lost and have to say goodbye to.

As a Celebrant, I specialise in Funerals and Memorials helping families and friends portray memories of their loved ones.

I still live in Hornsea with my Daughter who is 12 and my partner Sean and our Jackapoo Tilly who is 4.

I cover Hornsea and the East Yorkshire area.

My motto in life is “She believed she could, so, she did”
